I appreciate how this piece refuses binaries, assumes power and agency for women, and asks us all to consider how we want men to become. How men are now– I think we have plenty of evidence of that. And I understand, too, that many women find this a time for reckoning– one which has only begun– and I wonder, feminist friends (especially poc) if you feel this is too much compassion and forgiveness too soon, that we should not really be speaking of the possibility of redemption.
