Do you suffer from migraines, or know women who do in the Eugene/Springfield area? My father, Dr. Terry Copperman, is looking for participants in a a pilot study to determine the effectiveness of Kiatsu energy therapy on migraines. The treatment is FREE, and has been effective in my own experience, and in his long practice both as an MD and as Director of the Personal Kiatsu School. Please share widely with anyone who you think might benefit!

Migraine is a serious neurovascular condition that creates recurring debilitating headaches, nausea, and vomiting. Alternative therapies are currently being explored for treatment of migraines, as they have fewer side-effects and may be used along with medications.

In the course of the 24 years of classes in the Personal Kiatsu School, several students with severe migraines (attacks 20-30 days a month) have reportedly achieved marked reductions in their frequency of migraine headaches, down to 1-2 per month.

Kiatsu is a gentle hands-on therapy involving energy flow and gentle pressure. We have observed students experience a significant reduction in migraine as they participate in the Personal Kiatsu School.

This research study is intended as a pilot study, with the overall goal of determining if a condensed version of Kiatsu and the integrated relaxation components (deep breathing meditation, postural correction, and movement training) as described above will benefit migraine sufferers. Women only at this time.
